Marigold: the story of a print
Marigold began as a sketch made outside a flower market — heads of orange stacked chest-high, sold by weight, gone by noon.
Carving the block
Three blocks, three colours: the petal, the deeper shadow and the fine stem line. The stem block is the hardest to align and the one that makes the print sing.
Wearing it
Marigold sits happily against ivory, indigo and every shade of denim. It is loud in the best way.
